Creatine Products

Creatine
Creatine is a compound that is critical to the maintenance of ATP sources. ATP is the link between the energy in the food we eat and the chemical energy that enables muscles to contract. Depletion of ATP during intense exercise is commonly associated with the onset of muscle fatigue.

When creatine stores are exhausted, the muscle runs out of energy, resulting in muscle weakness. Fortunately, the amount of creatine available to the muscle can be increased. Research has shown that supplementing the diet with creatine monohydrate increases the creatine content in muscle tissue.

Results of this research indicate that further increases are possible when supplementation is combined with regular exercise. A single 5 gram dose of Creatine Monohydrate provides about the same amount of creatine as 2.5 pounds of fresh, uncooked steak. Creatine is isolated from meat extracts, no wonder it is expensive. It would take 160 pounds of fresh meat to make one 330 gram bottle of Mega-Pro Creatine!
